Brand Manager, Fashion
Job Description
A prominent fashion retail group is hiring a Brand Manager to manage business performance for an elegant fashion brand. The incumbent will be responsible to overseebrand management strategies in multiple functions such as buying, marketing, e-commerce, retail sales etc, suppliers and internal teams to maximize sales in HK and China.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for overall brand management for designated brand(s) to drive performance on marketing / promotion strategies, buying strategies, retail business excellence and consistently aware of fashion market trends.
- Drive omni-channel merchandising strategies across all categories of the brand to achieve business targets.
- Heading product team and retail team in Hong Kong, Macau and China, formulate OTB planning and marketing strategies to drive sales and maximize profits.
- Manage overall business performance, optimize retail operation efficiency and ensure the team achieve sales target of all channels (on/offline) and provide excellent shopping experience to customers.
- Monitor closely and report on the international trends of assigned brands.
- Closely communicate local product needs to brands, request right and relevant product offering, negotiating trade terms, payment terms, subsidy or royalty, and to communicate product compliance requirements.
- Assist management to prepare annual budget on turnover and GP, and exercise budgetary control.
- Develop long and short term sales and merchandising plans based on forecast and market trends.
- Design strategic promotions and incentive programs to drive the sales
- Attend regular meetings and buying trips.
- Prepare analysis, forecast and relevant information for Management team and overseas headquarter.
Requirement:
- University graduate in related disciplines. MBA preferred.
- 6-8 years’ experience in brand management, merchandising / product management within fashion retail industry. Management trainee experience is an advantage. HK and China market exposure is a must.
- Team leadership experience is essential.
- Strong in numbers.
- Pro-active, strong leadership skills, result-oriented, good communication skill and able to work under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Office. Excellent Excel skills.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin is a must.
