Senior Marketing Manager
Job Description
Our client is a leading retail group. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing and Category Manager to lead marketing initiatives for the packaged food business unit. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in integrated marketing plans, product development, and collaboration with production teams on innovative designs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food products, a keen understanding of market trends, and a proven track record of driving growth and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive integrated marketing plans to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Define target market segments and tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop new packaged food products.
- Lead the product development process from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and market needs.
- Work closely with the production team and factory on new product creation.
- Analyze category performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to optimize product performance.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Mentor and lead category and marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Explore business partners for promotion opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal parties to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives and product launches.
- Develop and manage marketing material and content (on and offline), including digital content, advertisements, and promotional materials.
- Evaluate effectiveness of promotion through the analysis of sales and margin.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in marketing and product management, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing strategies and consumer behavior.
- Proven experience in product development and category management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficient in data analysis and marketing tools.
- Fluent in Chinese and English.
