Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Sales to lead Food Service channel. This senior leadership role is responsible for developing and executing channel strategies, driving revenue growth, and building long-term partnerships across the food service landscape—including hotels, restaurants, catering services, and wholesale clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Define and implement the overall sales strategy for the Food Service channel to achieve business objectives and market expansion.

Revenue & Profitability Management

Drive top-line growth and optimize profitability through effective pricing, promotions, and customer segmentation strategies.

Team Development & Performance

Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales managers and representatives, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.

Key Account Management

Build and maintain strategic relationships with major food service clients and decision-makers to secure long-term partnerships.

Market Intelligence & Innovation

Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and inform product innovation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with marketing, supply chain, finance, and product development teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.

Sales Operations & Reporting

Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking. Ensure data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvement.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and ethical business practices across all sales activities.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

• Minimum 15 years of progressive sales experience in the FMCG or food service industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role

• Proven success in managing large teams and delivering consistent revenue growth

• Strong network within the food service sector and deep understanding of B2B dynamics

• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
