Leasing Manager, Retail Sector
Job Description
Our client is a renowned retail group with brands in apparel and footwear. They want to invite a passionate leader in retail leasing for the business development team.
Responsibilities
• Shape Growth Strategy: Develop and implement real estate initiatives that directly support the company’s expansion and long-term business objectives.
• Site Evaluation & Selection: Identify and assess potential store locations using demographic insights, traffic patterns, and financial performance criteria.
• Deal Leadership: Drive the full site acquisition process, including due diligence and lease negotiations with landlords and brokers, ensuring favorable terms and strategic alignment.
• Portfolio Management: Oversee the company’s lease portfolio, managing renewals, relocations, and terminations to optimize occupancy and cost efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with legal, finance, construction, and operations teams to deliver seamless and timely store openings.
• Market Intelligence: Maintain accurate real estate data, monitor market trends, and provide actionable insights to guide strategic planning and decision-making.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5-6 years’ retail leasing experience, multi-site environment is highly essential.
• Demonstrated success in lease negotiation, site selection, and portfolio management.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in market analysis, demographics, and retail industry trends.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and project management abilities, with a proven capacity to influence stakeholders and deliver results.
