Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join an Asset Management company. This role will involve supporting  accounting functions for multiple entities, with a focus on funds and other investment products such as stocks and bonds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Accounting team and assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Maintain and update accounting records and ledgers.
• Perform reconciliations of accounts and financial data.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support the finance team with various accounting projects and tasks as requested.
• Handle accounts payable processes.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting department.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

• University graduate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.  CPA qualification is a plus but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an asset management environment or financial field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (Fluent Mandarin is a highly preferred).
