Sr. Merchandising and Marketing Manager, Food Company

Job Description

Our client is a one of the largest company in running food business including retail, distribution and restaurants.  The group is an active player in exploring new products to diversify the business and provide consumers with great varieties at best value.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the assigned food brands and oversee category management for existing and new products. 
• Assist to monitor the purchasing process, identify trends and monitor inventories to ensure sufficient supply.  
• Liaise with suppliers concerning on purchasing orders and trading terms.
• Supervise the team to ensure good supply chain and product management, including pricing, production capacity, shipment schedule and stock management to achieve continuous competitiveness for the business. 
• Maintain accurate report for management.
• Coordinate with shipping team on logistics issues.

Requirement:

• Degree holder in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or related discipline
• 4-5 years of merchandising and shipping experience preferably in FMCG / food sector.
• Import / Export China experience is an advantage
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Strong analytical mind and able to work under pressure
• Fluent in English and Chinese, knowledge of Japanese and Putonghua will be an advantage
