Job Description

Our client is a reputable FMCG group which committed to bring quality products to the consumer markets. With a strong presence across retail channels, they pride on building trusted partnerships with suppliers and delivering exceptional value to customers.

They are now seeking a seasoned Sales Leader to head holistic Sales and Marketing strategy. This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing the exploration and development of sales channels, promotions & marketing, product portfolio development, and supplier relationships. The successful candidate will drive growth by identifying new opportunities, strengthening existing brands, and leading a high-performing team across sales, merchandising, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Key Accounts: Manage and expand relationships with major accounts including modern trade and general trade channels, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Product Development: Identify and introduce new products and brands aligned with market trends and consumer demand.
  • Brand & Channel Strategy: Define and execute brand positioning across wholesale, trading, general trade, and retail channels.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with key brands and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring consistent supply.
  • Merchandising Excellence: Oversee merchandising strategies to maximize visibility, sales, and customer engagement.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a sizable team of sales, merchandising, and marketing professionals, fostering collaboration and performance.
  • Market Expansion: Explore new sales channels and trading opportunities to broaden market reach.

Requirement:

  • Degree holder is a must.
  • Minimum 15 years experience in FMCG sector, particularly in food / beverage sales management or suppliers’ management with leadership role.
  • Proven track record in FMCG industry, preferably within food sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in key account, trading, wholesale, and general trade channels.
  • Demonstrated success in managing key accounts and supplier relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
